Heat compared to Golden-Era NFS? (Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon) Discussion What is the general consensus here? Is NFS Heat worthy as a successor to the best of the series? Would you put Heat above Underground 2, Most Wanted and/or Carbon? If not where does it stand among recent NFS? If you have good friends, Heat is the way to go. You have races, cops, nighttime, a cool story and the crew system, which allows you to unlock bonuses together. You could make a crew exclusive to your friends, use custom wraps and race together. 1. genericnfsfan21.
It was also pretty broken as there were limited options. Also, the limiting of license plates to NFS, this Speedhunters bs, and rocketbunny was awful. I like the game, but the visual customization was wayyyy too limited and should have been more geared like Underground 1 & 2, as well as MW(2005).

Everybody agrees that Need for Speed: Underground 2 is a legend. It was a great street racing sensation, as anyone who played it on the PS2 or PC would testify. NFS Underground 2 marked the start of the series apex, as many aficionados would also admit. Then, after Most Wanted, Carbon would bring it all to a close.

Undercover isn't take place in ug storyline and mw and carbon story line. Story of mw and carbon was writed by andreas lansky aka Andrew McPherson. NFS Underground doesn't seem to even see the G29 while NFSU 2 has the menu scroll issue. The menu scroll issue happened in NFS Carbon and Pro Street too but I was able to fix it by setting the pedals to combined. I have the pedals set to combined for NFSU 2 as well but it still doesn't seem to work properly. Platforms: PlayStation Portable, Zeebo. Although this version of Need for Speed: Carbon - Own the City shares its name with its counterparts, the game is completely different. Unlike the other versions there is no canyon racing or drift racing. The goal of the game is to build up a gang of the best racers and take over all the city's territories. xNX8EJF.
