Pull out the old sensor away from the engine. Ensure to disconnect the crankshaft’s electric connector. Add a moderate amount of oil to both the crankshaft sensor and the O-ring. Replace the old with the new sensor and do the reverse of the procedure to keep the sensor fitted.

Needless to say no crank signal no go. As for your oil leak it could be your timing case seal (seals crank pulley to timing case) or the camshaft position sensor, which lives behind the gold coloured plate on the front of the engine. Knowing Ford, it's possible that you're looking a cam/crank relationship issue, especially if you have codes for both camshafts. This is a belt system with keyless belt sprockets, which means you can easily end up with timing issues.
