They release kits even today from those older catalogs as well as newly created moulds by the “new” Revell. Revell USA first released kits as early as the 50s.
Revellisn't as good as AUTOart, they're more budget models. Your'e better off modding cheap models first so if you f*** the thing up, it's not a as much a loss as if u ruined a good model. and a cheap model can be brought up to AUTOart levels with some xtra effort :cheers
Im having the same issue airbrushing Revell acrylic paint over a Revell lvl 4 model (firetruck), even with topcoat it peels off under stress. Parts that I've washed are better, haven't primed this model. I’ve never done that sort of model before, but it’s generally a good idea to prime any model your gonna paint before you start
Itoo only brush by hand (tried and didn't like AB). Never used Revell paints but I found Humbrol to be the best paint (for hand brushing). I stopped using it due to the smell and cleanup and now I use MM acrylic which is almost as good but a lot easier to clean up and very little order (Tamiya being worthless as the previous layer always strips
Livingin Germany Revell paints are the ones you easily get. Any other brand is only mail order or proper hobby stores (of which are only a few left). Most of the enamels are really good for spraying and brush painting but there are some which can be a PITA when it comes to drying times - usually the gloss colours.

Good The airbrush looks useful and isn't a big ol' plastic external-mix thing. That airbrush will most likely be good for practicing and learning. Build some models and paint them with it and see! You may outgrow it, or discover limitations. When you
