Unless they added commands in the latest update, there isnt any yet. CrazyGeek1337 • 2 mo. ago. the only commands i found helpful atm are. viewmodel_offset_x. viewmodel_offset_y. viewmodel_offset_z. which you can change to get the weapon at your desired position.
There are four main console commands to change the viewmodel: -viewmodel_offset_x. -viewmodel_offset_y. -viewmodel_offset_z. -viewmodel_fov. These console commands (as far as I am aware) are set to 0 by default, so basically, I encourage you to experiment until you find the perfect settings. I will explain below.
Just a useful radial menu to change the Field of View for the Viewmodel. To use the menu bind a key with "+mouse_menu Fov". For binding with the console: bind ? "+mouse_menu Fov" For binding in the config: bind "?"
Alternatively, you can enable the console under your launch options. To enable developer console through your launch options, right click Left 4 Dead 2 under your games library. Choose properties from the drop down list. Then select general and launch options. Pasting “-console” inside your launch options with enable your developer console.

NOT the viewmodel FOV. I want to come back to this game for the update, but the highest FOV the game allows is just too low. Much like PUGB, CSGO, and a few other games I own. I simply cannot play those games anymore due to the stupidly low FOV the game allows. I can't play those games without my eyes feeling weird, and getting headaches. viewmodel view model csgo gun position offset fov hand config settings , Model Görüntüleme , modelo de vista , Вид модели рук и оружия , Pozycja modelu broni , 持枪视角 , Розмір моделі зброї , Vymodells position The default viewmodel FOV in Left 4 Dead 2 is 66. This means that when you are playing the game, your viewmodel will take up 66% of the screen. FOV stands for field of view. The field of view is the amount of the game world that you can see at any given time. The higher the number, the more of the game world you can see. How it work? After that, there are two new console commands: viewmodel_fov_override and fov_override. The first command is responsible for the FOV of the hands, the second - a common FOV. You can put any value. For example: viewmodel_fov_override 90. fov_override 75.

As for the weapon positioning, that would require a model replacement, and can't be achieved through console variables/commands. Showing 1 - 15 of 15 comments.
